BP-RIO is currently involved in permitting and constructing an approximate first phase of 263,000 square feet of buildings for logistics, commercial warehouse, showroom and flex office uses. The new development is unique to the Riviera Maya in that it is the first of its kind locally and offers extensive amenities not offered elsewhere in the market. These Class A buildings, being designed by the architectural firm GAA in Irvine, CA, offer users a highly professional and well-maintained environment, 24-hour security, high clear heights, large column spacing, ample parking for both cars and shipping trucks, secured truck yards, dock-high loading, a state-of-the-art fire protection system, office space built-to-suit, and well-conceived entry and exit points to maintain efficient flow of incoming and outgoing traffic.
The land area of the new development will enable BP-RIO to ultimately construct a total of over 700,000 square feet of similar building product. In that Phase I construction comprises less than half that total amount, BP-RIO maintains a significant land inventory to entertain various build-to-suit and land sale opportunities. |
